Terms and Conditions of our Money Back Guarantee
(Established March 1, 2024)
Do the work and you will achieve success! We are so confident in your ability to be successful entering graduate school with guidance from the 2024 Fully Funded Course and Mentorship Program that we offer a conditional Money Back Guarantee*: If you take all the steps that this program prescribes and apply to a minimum of 5 U.S. master’s or PhD programs (exclusions apply*) and do not receive at least one acceptance, you can receive back your money back for your ESSENTIAL membership purchase or your PLUS membership purchase excluding the value of individual advising sessions.
Important note: This Money Back Guarantee is not a guarantee you will be accepted to a graduate school. No graduate admissions program or consultant can guarantee your acceptance to any graduate school. We have no special relationships with U.S. graduate school selection committees. This program teaches you highly effective strategies to choose “best fit” programs and create your own exceptional and authentic applications in full compliance with university ethics guidelines. In this self-guided program, all members are fully responsible for their choice of graduate programs and the preparation, quality, and submission of their applications.
Our Money Back Guarantee was established so that you can feel confident that you are investing in the most effective, inclusive, and ethical graduate admissions guidance on the U.S. market, and to also incentivize our members to fully commit to the program’s prescribed steps and access our community support to achieve success!
Eligibility Conditions:
To be eligible for the 2024 Fully Funded Course Money Back Guarantee, a member must:
Course Completion Criteria:
#1 You must complete 100% of your ESSENTIAL Master’s Applicant or ESSENTIAL Doctorate Applicant online course, including Workbook exercises, by November 1, 2024.
Course completion is tracked inside our course platform. On November 2, 2024, all participants will have their course completion status documented. Members will also be asked to provide a copy of their completed online Workbook exercises.
#2 You must complete a brief monthly progress survey every month through April 1, 2025.
Members are emailed the survey on the first of the month and one reminder.
#3 You must attend and participate in a minimum of 10 (ten) “Office Hours” events for questions and mentorship, for the full 45-minute duration of each event, before December 1, 2024.
We offer 2 (two) 45 minute Office Hours sessions twice per month for Master’s Applicants and Doctorate Applicants respectively, at set, recurring times:
The sooner you join the program, the more opportunities you have to attend 10 Office Hours events. Your live attendance and participation will be tracked at each meeting. According to our Individual Use Policy outlined in the Terms and Conditions of Service, you are not allowed to send a proxy to attend in your place.
#4 You must purchase and complete at least 1 (one) Application Review Session with a Fully Funded Course coach before November 1, 2024, for feedback on your applications. Note: Application Review Sessions are an additional cost of $499 USD and are non-refundable.
The Application Review Session with a Fully Funded Course coach provides our review of up to 10 (ten) pages of application documents. This step is required to ensure you are appropriately applying the guidance taught in the online course and Office Hours and to help you put forth your best possible applications.
#5 Within your complete list of graduate schools and fellowships that you apply to during your membership using our course guidance, you must apply to a minimum of 5 (five) U.S.-based master’s and/or PhD programs (see Exclusions*) for which you meet the graduate school’s eligibility requirements. You must share with our team the complete list of schools and fellowships you have or will be submitting applications to, including those outside the United States, by December 31, 2024.
*This program is primarily designed for preparing applications for U.S.-based master's and PhD programs and fellowships. However, if you achieve acceptance to a graduate school or fellowship anywhere in the world that you applied to during your membership, this is considered a successful outcome. When the desired outcome has been achieved, there will be no refund granted.
To be eligible for a refund, members must abide by the program’s Code of Conduct for the duration of your membership.
Exclusions:
Anyone is welcome to join the 2024 Fully Funded Course and Mentorship Program, but to be eligible for the Money Back Guarantee, you must hold an accredited 4-year U.S. undergraduate degree on or before June 1, 2025, which is a criterion for admission to U.S. graduate schools. The Money Back Guarantee is not applicable to holders of foreign degrees because our organization is unable to verify foreign applicants’ foreign degree eligibility for entrance to U.S. graduate schools.
The Money Back Guarantee is not applicable to those who use this program to apply to medical school (MD), pharmacy school (PharmD), veterinary school (DVM or VMD), or dental school (DDS), including joint degree programs (e.g., PhD-MD). Our program was not designed for preparing applications to these professional degree programs and excludes test preparation guidance necessary for a successful application.
We provide in-depth guidance on how to find and choose U.S.-based master's and PhD programs that are the best fit for your academic foundation and career goals. We support members in applying to competitive universities, and we do not believe a below-average test score or undergraduate GPA will hold you back from entering a well-respected U.S. graduate school. However, we reserve the right to determine the applicability of the Money Back Guarantee on a case-by-case basis: If you only apply to schools for which you do not meet their academic requirements and expectations, the Money Back Guarantee will be void. Graduate school requirements and expectations can include a minimum undergraduate GPA, GRE scores in the upper 80th percentile, a Master’s degree, required prerequisite coursework, research experience, advanced English language fluency, or other possible eligibility requirements and expectations. An example is only applying to a selection of Ivy League universities when you have an undergraduate GPA under 3.0, or GRE test scores in the 50th percentile or less, or English language skills that are not advanced enough for publication-level academic writing. In this case, the Money Back Guarantee is void because you did not meet the admissions expectations of your choice of schools and you made an intentional choice not to apply to graduate schools that are an appropriate fit for your academic background. Likewise, if you choose to apply to PhD programs without research experience from a previous degree or professional work, the Money Back Guarantee is void.
If you have a criminal record or were suspended or disbarred from a university program of any type due to plagiarism, harassment, fraud, cheating or any act inconsistent with a school’s code of ethics, you are not eligible for the Money Back Guarantee.
ENTRY membership purchases are not eligible for the Money Back Guarantee and are non-refundable; this includes if you upgrade to an ESSENTIAL or PLUS membership after purchasing an ENTRY membership.
Defining Success:
Our program is designed to help you prepare exceptionally strong graduate school and fellowship applications. Since 2019, this program has demonstrated an extraordinarily high success rate for those who made a commitment to the program's guidance and support. If you are accepted to one or more of the graduate schools or fellowships that you applied to during your membership (with or without a funding offer, anywhere in the world), you will be celebrated as a Fully Funded Course success story and welcomed into ProFellow’s International Fellows Network! This includes if you were offered a master’s acceptance as a result of a doctorate application. If you have a graduate school or fellowship acceptance from a program you applied to during your membership, a refund will not be provided.
If you have not received at least one acceptance to a graduate school or fellowship globally, but have met all the Course Completion Criteria specified above and applied to at least 5 U.S.-based master’s or PhD programs (see exclusions), you are eligible to redeem the Money Back Guarantee. Eligible members can receive a free 2025 Fully Funded Course ESSENTIAL membership to support a re-application OR receive money back on your 2024 Fully Funded Course ESSENTIAL or PLUS membership minus the value of individual advising sessions which are non-refundable.
The 2024 Fully Funded Course and Mentorship Program has a strict no refund policy. Requests for refunds will not be accepted by the Company if you are unable to complete the Program for any reason or choose not to apply to graduate school. If you are unable to meet the Course Completion Criteria due to health, family, or work-related reasons, you will be offered the opportunity to extend your membership for an additional year at a reduced price.
How to Redeem
You can execute the Money Back Guarantee on your 2024 ESSENTIAL or PLUS membership after April 15, 2025 and no later than 3 months from the end of your membership.
To begin the Money Back Guarantee redemption process, you must provide documentation of all your submitted graduate school and fellowship applications, including those outside the United States, to verify you submitted complete applications, including required recommendation letters and test scores (if applicable), by the application deadline.
You must also provide the official rejection notices from all the graduate schools and fellowships you applied to during your membership. If you have a pending response from one or more applications, we will not move forward with the redemption process until all responses are received. If you have met our Course Completion Criteria stipulated above, you will have the opportunity to meet with our team at no cost to review your submitted applications to identify if you have a strong opportunity for a re-application in 2025 with changes to your applications or school choices.
After this meeting, you will have the choice of a free ESSENTIAL membership in the 2025 Fully Funded Course and Mentorship Program to support a re-application or money back on your original membership purchase excluding the value of individual advising sessions, which are non-refundable.
